The “Little Foragers” program is designed to inspire children, parents, and others to walk, observe, touch, taste, and enjoy the gifts of nature. It is an awareness-raising initiative aimed at protecting forest and terrestrial ecosystems. The program’s goal is rooted in the belief that introducing individuals—starting from a young age—to the natural terrestrial and mountainous environment fosters a sense of care and responsibility for the protection of ecosystems.
Program Activities: a. Publication of a Foraging Guide: A guide designed for both children and adults, offering practical knowledge about foraging in Greece. b. Public Foraging Events: A series of activities in the Peleta Plateau and Attica, bringing participants closer to nature through hands-on experiences.
